Warrior Voices:
Veteran History Project
About Warrior Voices
This project is designed to work with the guidelines established by the Library of Congress Veteran History Project. For more information on the Veteran History Project please visit Veterans History Project.
Warrior Voices and the Veteran History Project are accepting any veteran who would like to talk about their service. There are no prerequisites for the veteran, other than serving in the American military. The goal for Warrior Voices is to record primary source data, or oral histories, of veterans on topics like, but not limited to, the daily military life, myths and rumors, boot camp stories, impact of serving after getting out. Then the oral history is then sent off to the Library of Congress where it will be archived for future generations and others to use. Ultimately, I want to provide United States military history from those who saw it happen.

History Firsthand
Explore and listen to the collection of oral histories that will provide you with a firsthand account of military life during the Vietnam Era and after. While this project begins with the Vietnam Veterans, these are not the only veterans of focus. The timeline layout of the oral histories moves you from the 1960s to close to present-day military life, in three of the branches.
